Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
MathLab uses information needed to provide learning accounts, progress tracking, support, and optional paid access.
Information we use
Account email, chosen display name and avatar, favorite courses, lesson and game progress, exam attempts and scores, and subscription status. A launch waitlist stores the email you provide with your consent. Contact messages include the information you submit. Class leaderboard participation shares your nickname, class code and XP.
Classes, teachers and parents
Your account role can be Student, Parent or Teacher. Teacher request records include name, school, subject and optional country. Teaching documents, staff-profile links and school-email verification are not required. Any previously submitted verification details remain private; contact us to request their deletion. Teachers with classroom access see names and assignment results for current members of their own classes, plus personal practice of topics assigned in those classes. Assignment answers, scores, attempts and time are saved on the server. Teachers cannot see unrelated personal activity. Students can leave a class at any time; leaving stops the teacher’s access to their class report.
Students may privately share a parent link code. Linked parents have read-only access to that child’s learning progress, scores, assignments and suggested learning plan. A student can remove a parent, which changes the link code. Parents can unlink children. Weekly parent summary emails are currently switched off. Admins can review teacher requests and access class records for administration.
Usage information
We count visits by country only; we do not store IP addresses.
Learning activity and aggregate site usage help us improve MathLab. Browser storage and essential cookies support sign-in, preferences, and saved progress.
Our processors and payment provider
Supabase provides accounts and cloud progress storage. Brevo handles account and contact emails. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and site storage. When payments open, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record/reseller and handles payment details and transaction taxes. MathLab receives purchase identifiers and subscription status; we do not store full card details. These providers process information according to their own policies and may process it outside your country.
Your choices
Accounts are required for full learning activities and progress tracking; visitors can browse courses and selected samples. You may request access, correction, account deletion, or removal from the launch waitlist by emailing us. Some transaction records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations. The waitlist is for the launch notification you requested.
